What was the highlight of MD Hotel Doksan
The hotel is near food areas, and convenient stores, having coffee shop in the hotel is also a plus.

showering area, 7-9/June the door rubber is worn out, not be able to close nicely, water was coming out during showering. on 13-17 June, we have to shower in the bathtub and it was so inconvenient for our age at 53 year-old for in and out the bathtub which we were afraid of slip. In addition, during showering, the water is every where on the floor, made the whole restroom wet, which it's difficult for using the toilet. Furthermore, the breakfast is too early morning, we missed many days for eating breakfast.

What was the highlight of MD Hotel Doksan
Good
The hotel itself looks nice on the surface. It has a coffee shop at the entrance, the neighbourhood is nice, the staff are really kind and ready to help. The room came with a nice view and a bathtub (our choice when booking). Every day, you get coffee and tea, and most of the time, water. All in all, it would have been perfect if not for the downsides.
The hotel is not clean. The washing machines smell like mould, and the dryers aren't working properly. The room itself looks nice on the first day, but then the dust starts piling up, and no one cleans it. The floor wasn't vacuumed well either. The towels and sheets are full of holes and staines. To add to this, we had no air in the room. There are no windows to be opened. There was an AC that didn't work, and there was an airpurifier that could have been just a picture on the wall for all it did. I assume AC didn't work so late in the year, but outside temp was 20°C, while the inside was 28°. It was very hard to sleep for us in that hot and stuffy room. To add to this, while there is shampoo and body soap dispenser in the bathroom, they are both the worst quality ever as they are immensely drying. Our skin started iching like crazy on the very first day, so we had to buy our own shampoo and body wash! Also, due to a new law in Korea, you won't get any amenities like cotton swabs, etc, while staying there.

Great hotel and area! Just not pleasant when travelling to the city centre.
The hotel was really good in terms of service. It had everything you needed and room was very nice and clean. The staff were beyond amazing in helping you get to places and provided us with useful tips in getting around. I loved the hotel area as it was very local and away from the tourists.
My room was super cold. I'm not sure if the air conditioner was constantly on or if the off button was broken. However, the staff were very accommodating and provided me with an external heater to use. The hotel location is very far from the city centre or the main tourist attractions of Seoul so be prepared to have long travels to get to where you need to go. The hotel would still be a choice when I decide to come back

I had a great experience with the hotel’s staff—they were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist. The location was also excellent, making it very convenient to explore the city and access key attractions through subway or bus routes.
There were a few aspects that could be improved. The room lacked enough storage space, especially in terms of closets, which made organizing belongings a bit difficult. Additionally, about half of the electrical sockets were not working, which was inconvenient. The breakfast selection, while decent, could have offered more variety.
